Balls Mahoney went straight for Homeless Jimmy, etc. The wrestlers had their targets selected. Once the security guard grabbed Messiah by the head and another shoved Supreme onto Kristi Myst, the ECW locker room cleared. But we did not think they would go to such lengths. Stephen DeAngelis had commented to someone earlier in the night, who relayed the message to XPW, that ECW was "ready" to combat XPW. The crowd popped when Kristi took off her outer shirt, Francine got in her face and all hell broke loose. Fans in the building and outside after the event had no idea about the "drunken fan hit Francine" story and told the story of what happened quite differently. A number of fans outside the arena thought Francine shoved or hit Kristi because she fell, but it was, in fact, Supreme who knocked her over. He yelled at Supreme, "Your career is done." Joey Styles then told the PPV audience that a drunk fan had attacked Francine. The live fans saw Dreamer approach Supreme. Tommy Dreamer and Justin Credible had been jawing in the ring and the ref informed them of what was going on and Dreamer left the ring. Francine then started shouting at Kristi Myst, angered that she was stealing her heat. Messiah and Supreme took off their inside out shirts planning to reveal their XPW logos when they were both grabbed by security guards. She stood at ringside and was taking off her shoe when Kristi Myst took off her outer shirt revealing the bikini top. George brought out the ladder and at one point Francine left the ring. Justin Credible and Francine hit the ring and Tommy Dreamer came out. Also, ECW ring announcer Stephen DeAngelis told someone earlier that "We hear XPW is going to try something during the main event and we are ready." Doc used his knowledge of XPW to get backstage access to the event. When XPW people arrived at the building they were immediately pointed out to ECW security and staff by a former employee and local promoter with a personal vendetta named Doc Marlee. XPW had been informed earlier in the week that ECW had requested extra security because they had feared XPW was "going to try something." Rumors even reached back to XPW that people thought Sabu and Supreme would be in the front row. This was all to be done in the interest of getting the name out there. Since we had no other means of advertising, we were going to have all the guys in the front row turn their shirts back to right side in and reveal the XPW logos. Kevin and other XPW employees had conversations with the guard and all was well. Half way through the show an Atlas security guard was sent to sit with them. Dynamite D, Chronic, White Trash Johnny Webb, Pat Hernandez, Steve Hernandez, and Kevin Kleinrock actually had seats right above the entranceway and could have easily bombarded entering wrestlers with drinks, food, signs, etc, or even cut the ECW banner, but did not. XPW did not interfere throughout the PPV. Additionally, when a limousine carrying Dynamite D, Patrick Hernandez, Homeless Jimmy, Steve Hernandez, and non-XPW employees arrived, they were met by Atlas Security and told to turn their shirts inside out. All of them were forced to turn their shirts inside out upon entering the building. XPW had Supreme, Kristi Myst, Homeless Jimmy, Kris Kloss, Kid Kaos, and The Messiah in the front row. No XPW t-shirts were allowed in the building. The plan was to display t-shirts and posters, and distribute flyers for the show.ĮCW security was extremely tight. XPW has attended house shows, PPVs, and television tapings of the WWF and WCW doing the exact same thing. XPW attended the ECW PPV to publicize their event next weekend at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Well, after reading the posts about it, I decided to look for it, and found it somewhere, and anyways, some good reading.
